It was such a gorgeous day out today! I would love it if Indiana could be like this year round!

I haven't been feeling the greatest over the past couple days, and I have not gotten out of the house all that much except for work and "had to do things." So, I decided it was time to go outside. It was too good not to. So, I grabbed the girls and threw them in the car. Best idea ever. I got to sit, they got to ride, and being outside with some Vitamin D definitely helped cure the cooped-up blues!

The girls were having such a good time! Emery loved being in the car and was talking and laughing the whole time. It was cracking me up! Gwen just loved cruising her around and kept yelling, "Mom watch!"

For anyone who has seen Gwen drive this car- she's a crazy lady. Throwing it in reverse, spinning it around, almost bumping into things.... just being a non-licensed four year old. She loves it. That was one of the best birthday gifts we could have gotten for her. Her and Emery were having a ball- and I was a nervous wreck. Haha.

That Mustang has some go-go power. Every time Gwen would accelerate, Emery lurched backward. Reverse- there went her little bitty head forward. She would laugh, then look at me. "Wait, was that funny?" Haha, Poor Emery. Laugh, reassurance look, laugh, reassurance look. Just keep repeating. I was so worried that at any point she would bail!

Apparently I worry too much. Emery didn't end up needing a neck brace afterwards and suffered from no injuries. (ex. being thrown from a 6mph moving car)

I need more days like this and I am so excited that fall is upon us! My favorite season for sure! I know that Indiana had such a bummer summer, but I am so ready for the leaves to change and to bundle myself and my girls up in scarves, hats, and coats! (I say this now!)

Regardless, it is amazing of what a beautiful day can do for your spirits... and some very restless children. :)

xoxo,

Megan
